It seems AQHA is not finished confusing us yet.
This year, the new Ranch Horse Pleasure class has had a name change. It is now called Ranch Riding. But, there is already an AQHA class named Ranch Riding and it is one of the classes in the Versatility Ranch Horse Competition, an event that is held separately from any regular AQHA Show.
RockStar Horse Shows will be adding Ranch Riding, Ranch Trail, Ranch Conformation (all from the Versatility Ranch Horse Competition) and a class that is pending and to be added as an AQHA approved class in 2017, Ranch Rail which will be a rail (group) class.
These classes will be held as a group and will not be in the class list for the regular Open English and Western Shows but will be part of the RockStar Special Events.
Descriptions and rules for all these classes will be posted on my blog on my website www.rockstartexasrose.com and will be included in the upcoming Western Special Event Clinic & Competition.
